About This Blog
This blog is a project of Joshua24 Ministry, dedicated to the in-depth study of key Biblical words and concepts from a Hebraic, Torah-based perspective. Our focus is on uncovering the original meaning of Scripture as it would have been understood by its original authors and audiences.
Over centuries, major religious traditions—Christianity, Judaism, and Islam—have often reinterpreted Biblical terms to fit later theological, doctrinal, and liturgical frameworks. As a result, many commonly used Biblical words no longer carry the same meaning they held at the time the texts were written.
This shift has created significant confusion, especially in modern Bible translations, where readers naturally assume that contemporary definitions reflect the original intent. In many cases, this assumption is historically and linguistically inaccurate.
Our work seeks to restore clarity by returning to the ancient Hebrew foundations of Scripture. Since Hebrew was the primary language of most Biblical authors, we place strong emphasis on Hebrew word studies, supported by careful linguistic and contextual analysis.
Our Approach
We follow a structured, repeatable, and transparent methodology to ensure consistency and depth in every study.
Each word selected for analysis is managed through a dedicated Google Sheet, which guides and prioritizes our research. Once a word is chosen, we:
- Identify the original Hebrew word or words translated into the chosen term
- Examine relevant Greek equivalents used in later texts and translations
- Compare corresponding Arabic equivalents, where applicable
- Analyse how meanings may have shifted or diverged over time
- Evaluate theological and linguistic deviations from the original Hebraic understanding
- Conclude with a synthesized explanation grounded in historical context and Scripture
Our analysis is guided by a defined set of hermeneutical principles and supported by a custom-guided AI model. This AI assistance helps with linguistic comparison, verse analysis, and synthesis—while all conclusions remain grounded in careful human oversight and Scriptural integrity.
Why This Matters
By approaching Biblical words through their original Hebrew context, we have gained profound insight into Scripture that is often missed in traditional readings.
Our hope is that this blog will provide you with clarity, depth, and guidance, helping you rediscover the Hebrew understanding behind well-known Biblical terms and read the Scriptures with fresh perspective and renewed understanding.
